摘要: Handling efficiently and effectively real-time vehicle control is of major concern public transport (PT) operators. One related problem on how to reduce the uncertainty simultaneous arrivals two or more vehicles at a transfer point. Improper lack certain actions leads have missed transfers, one undesirable features PT service. Missed transfers result in increase passenger waiting travel times, frustration. This work focuses reducing by use tactics operation. The developed model improves service performance optimally increasing number direct total time. consists policies built upon combination tactics: holding skip-stop/segment, where segment group stops. implementation concept performed steps: optimization simulation. searches for best operational tactics. simulation serves as validation optimal results under stochastic framework. A case Auckland, New Zealand used. show that applying holding-skip stop, are increased about 100% 150%, time reduced 2.14% 4.1%, respectively, compared with no-tactic scenario. tactic 47% than stop short headway
