摘要: The safety of primary reformers is essential to safe operation large-scale petrochemical processes, especially when carbon dioxide going be recovered from an ammonia plant. In this study, a preliminary assessment made model industrial stack as the gases are introduced into CO2 capture plant, during production. A CFD was first developed in absence commercial recovery (CDR) unit validate against data under normal operation. At full capacity plan, results provided by match measurement well within about 3.87% margin relative error. calibrated then applied combination with post-combustion, part process, verify process constraints reformer furnace. effect starting up and shutting down CDR plant explored event emergency From operational view, startup or unplanned failure pressure fluctuations do not exceed maximum allowable firebox. Upon reaching required operating conditions, both subsystems can integrated operationally continue production safely.
