Transition moment variation in the A2Σ+ → X2Πi transition of HCl+, DCl+ and HBr+

摘要: Abstract Relative emission intensities of sixteen bands HCl + ( A 2 Σ - X Π i ), four DCl and 5 HBr ) have been made using both ion-beam excitation microwave discharge sources. Intensities were determined by comparison with computer-generated spectra. Treatment the data within r -centroid approximation shows that in electronic transition moment decreases strongly at large v′v″ [ Re α exp (−3.6 for 1.44 ] but levels off shorter . agree quantitatively The variation is similar, R e [−4.5 1.58
