摘要: The melting and crystallization behaviors, morphology, mechanical properties of polypropylene (PP)/surface-treated calcium sulfate (CaSO4) whisker (T-CSW), β-PP/T-CSW, β-PP/polypropylene-graft-maleic anhydride (PP-g-MAH)/T-CSW composites had been investigated via differential scanning calorimetry (DSC), wide angle X-ray diffraction (WAXD), polarized light microscopy (PLM), electron (SEM), tests. We found that T-CSW was an α-nucleating agent increased the temperatures PP, but PP-g-MAH high loadings weakly negative effects on rates PP. restrained formation β-spherulites, spherulitic size decreased in composites. improved compatibility adhesion between matrix. notched impact strength improved, tensile enhanced at low levels T-CSW, while flexural modulus weakened for β-PP/T-CSW β-PP/PP-g-MAH/T-CSW versus PP/T-CSW POLYM.
