摘要: OBJECT High-resolution magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) can distinguish between intraneural ganglion cysts and paralabral (extraneural) at the glenohumeral joint. Suprascapular share same pathomechanism as their counterparts, emanating from a tear in glenoid labrum. The authors present 2 cases to demonstrate that identification arthroscopic repair of labral tears form cornerstone treatment for suprascapular nerve. METHODS Two patients with were identified: 1 was recognized treated prospectively, other, previously reported cyst, identified retrospectively through reinter-pretation high-resolution MR images. RESULTS Both achieved full functional recovery had complete radiological involution 3-month 12-month follow-ups, respectively. CONCLUSIONS Previous reports described by an open approach decompress resect articular nerve branch this report cysts, similar be labrum without resection branch. This minimizes surgical morbidity directly addresses primary etiology extraneural cysts.
