Suprascapular nerve entrapment. A summary of seven cases.

摘要: The suprascapular nerve, formed from the upper trunk of brachial plexus, can be entrapped at notch and result in significant patient morbidity. Seven patients with nerve palsy are presented, their evaluation, treatment, outcome over a mean follow-up period 24 months described. Six these were treated surgically one medically; all experienced good results. In review relevant literature, this entity is distinguished other causes shoulder pain, typical presenting signs symptoms outlined, appropriate management addressed.
