摘要: article i nfo Trace element contents of regolith materials are often orders magnitude higher than those their parent rocks. This weathering enrichment is confused with mineralization. In order to quantitatively describe trace behaviors due weathering, we selected a profile developed over the Linglong biotite granite in western part Jiaodong peninsula, China. Eleven samples were collected from weathered soil fresh sequentially top bottom and 39 elements analyzed for each sample according analytical specification regional geochemical surveys Based on major studied present new Weathering Index Granite (WIG), which more sensitive Chemical Alteration (CIA), Parker (WIP), Colman (WIC). The 12 described using an exponential relationship between WIG values profile. calculated this relation can be viewed as background resulting only differences degree same rock. For case study Linglong-Jiaojia Au deposit region, factor was defined ratio content its value WIG. results in- dicate that useful index determine anomalies survey data region where stream sediments derived material.
