摘要: Abstract Interpolation between existing data points is necessary in order to construct contours and surfaces determine spatial variations anomalies within soil geochemical datasets. In this study we focus on the mature Cu Au Tongling mining district, Anhui province, eastern China. Copper concentrations both topsoil (A horizon) deep (C were used compare Kriging multifractal interpolation methods. separate anomalous samples from background concentrations, anomaly thresholds for calculated district using a scattergram of contoured elemental versus number mineral deposits contained each contour. The threshold was 56.23 mg·kg− 1; contour constructed value contains majority known while also indicating other potentially prospective areas. that distinguishes anomalously high 2.22 μg·kg− 1; however, considered less robust than due lower training points, i.e. deposits, district.
