摘要: Background Despite the use of mood stabilizers, a significant proportion patients with bipolar affective disorder experience frequent relapses. A pilot study cognitive therapy (CT) specifically designed to prevent relapses for showed encouraging results when used in conjunction stabilizers. This article reports outcome randomized controlled CT help and promote social functioning. Methods We 103 1 according DSM-IV , who experienced despite prescription commonly into group or control group. Both groups received stabilizers regular psychiatric follow-up. In addition, an average 14 sessions during first 6 months 2 booster second months. Results During 12-month period, had significantly fewer episodes, days episode, number admissions this type episode. The also higher these 12 months, less symptoms on monthly questionnaires. Furthermore, there was fluctuation manic coped better prodromes at Conclusion Our findings support conclusion that relapse prevention is useful tool
