摘要: Polysomnography is the gold standard test for diagnosis of sleep-disordered breathing (SDB) in children. Pediatric polysomnography should be performed a sleep laboratory equipped children and staffed by qualified personnel following American Thoracic Society (ATS) standards testing. In 2007, Academy Sleep Medicine (AASM) standardized scoring stages definitions events children. Controversy remains regarding preoperative screening SDB normal undergoing adenotonsillectomy (T&A). All with risk factors respiratory complications postoperatively have baseline polysomnogram before T&A. Children requiring positive airway pressure therapy must titration to evaluate therapeutic effect. Alternative types studies variable channels not been fully validated children.
