摘要: Abstract Kilometer-size fold interference patterns in the Beishan Orogenic Collage (BOC) southernmost Altaids formed by superimposition fossiliferous Permian sedimentary rocks. First-phase (F 1 ), upright and almost north-trending folds, were refolded E- to ENE-trending F 2 whose axial planes axes are vertical or subvertical. From east west there is a regional change style of from lobate–cuspate-, crescent- mushroom-shape. This variation accompanied westward decrease interlimb angle related higher percentage coarse-grained clastic rocks, suggesting dependence deformation on lithology. Axial planar slaty cleavages well developed poorly folds. The superposed folds mainly underwent flexural-slip flexural flow folding give rise lobate–cuspate pattern, crescent pattern caused flattening where sediments unconsolidated enriched fluids. two events interpreted result major plate configuration that inversion an inter-arc basin during final amalgamation BOC latest early mid-Triassic. bracketed between maximum detrital zircon age
