摘要: Abstract RMn 2 O 5 ( R = Y and rare earth) shows successive magnetic ferroelectric phase transitions at about 45, 40, 39, 20 10 K. We have reinvestigated the structure of YMn commensurate T 25 K ) using a single crystal four-circle diffractometer in order to discuss mechanism magnetoelectric interaction origin ferroelectricity. also observed lattice modulation vectors q L compare propagation M by synchrotron X-ray diffraction. Improved data are compared with theory recently proposed.
