摘要: As brick is not considered as Industrialised Building System (IBS) due to its size. Therefore, this study manufactured sand-cement block with modular dimension; 400 mm × 200 300 mm. However, heavy and brittle especially In-line requirement for sustainable environmentally friendly building materials, therefore looking at the potential in using oil palm trunk fiber (OPTF) production of high percentages order reduce weight. The investigation on mechanical properties blocks have been carried out by varying process parameters, such condition (untreated alkali treated) (20, 30 50 % volume). treated untreated fibers were characterised tensile strength scanning electron microscopy. effects treatments physical compressive OPTF cement determined. results showed that increases increasing percentage improvement bonding between matrix fiber.
