摘要: Melanoma is one of the most heterogeneous and immunogenic forms cancer. Both tumor stroma cells synthesize many cytokines involved in rapid development metastasis. One these from milieu necrosis factor-alpha (TNF-α), which seems to have an intricate role melanomagenesis. Initially, it was found that TNF-α can induce apoptosis through both extrinsic intrinsic pathways, contrast with later studies revealed its protumoral activity. inflammation, inducing secretion survival molecules like antiapoptotic proteins, proangiogenetic factors metastasis markers. Although there are therapeutic strategies against melanoma, prognosis advanced stages remains poor, due several resistance mechanisms. TNF be a negative prognostic factor melanoma surgery correlates chemotherapy resistance. However, high intratumoral levels might beneficial for immunotherapy. Researchers may redirect their future by double activating proinflammatory molecule immune order obtain antitumoral response metastatic melanoma.
