摘要: Secondary injuries remain an important cause of the morbidity and mortality associated with traumatic brain injury (TBI). Progression cerebral contusions occurs in up to 75% patients TBI, this contributes subsequent clinical deterioration requirement for surgical intervention. Despite this, role early radiological factors predicting contusion progression remains relatively poorly defined due studies investigating all types hemorrhagic as a combined cohort. In review, we summarize data from recent on which predict progression, effect outcomes.
