摘要: Abstract This chapter discusses some practical applications of the clay–polymer interaction in agriculture and industry. Some polymers can act as soil conditioners by improving physical properties, such water-stable aggregation, hydraulic conductivity, mechanical strength, resistance to water wind erosion. Clay minerals, either or after surface modification, are used fillers extenders elastomers, thermoplastics, polymer-based adhesives order lower cost product improve thermal stability, gas barrier properties. Processed kaolinites extensively coating materials paper reduce production costs brightness, colour, opacity, printability texture.
