摘要: Arm movements during gait in children with cerebral palsy (CP) are altered compared to typically developing (TD). We investigated whether these changes arm alter interlimb coordination CP gait. 3D analysis was performed (diplegia [DI]: N = 15 and hemiplegia [HE]: 11) TD (N 24) at preferred fast walking speeds. Mean Relative Phase (MRP, i.e. mean over the cycle of Continuous or CRP) calculated as a measure coordination, standard deviation CRP used coordinative stability, sign MRP indicated which limb leading (for all pair combinations four limbs). In HE, significantly altered, less stable different found whenever most affected included studied pair. DI, deteriorated when any two legs pair, stability arms included. almost combinations, DI TD. Increasing speed improved several pairs DI. Coordination limb-leading deficits were mostly linked limb. The compensating (non-affected) primarily underlines importance active HE. may be improve
