摘要: Using multi-process framework by McDaniel and Einstein (2000), the current study examined whether length of prospective memory (PM) delay intervals as measured 2- 15-min subscales Memory for Intentions Screening Test (MIST) have differential predictive value antiretroviral (ARV) adherence. Participants included 74 HIV-infected individuals whose ARV adherence was tracked with an electronic monitoring system. were classified "adherent" (n = 49) or "non-adherent" 25) based on recorded pill bottle openings ≥90% prescribed doses over 30 days. An group MIST interval interaction observed, such that non-adherent participants had worse performance 15-min, but not 2-min PM subscales. The observed effects significantly more pronounced time- versus event-cued trials. Long-delay time-based non-adherence independent demographics, mood state, self-reported adherence, general cognitive functioning. Findings from this clinical indicate may be particularly associated deficits in strategic cue longer delays, which inform interventions to improve among persons living HIV infection.
