摘要: The present study investigated the impact of cue type and delay interval on prospective memory performance in depressed, compared to non-depressed, individuals using a clinically relevant measure, Memory for Intentions Screening Test. depressed group demonstrated impaired time-based, but not event-based, tasks relative nondepressed group. also with longer intervals (15 min), shorter (2 min). These data support theoretical frameworks that posit depression is associated deficits cognitive initiative (i.e., reduced ability voluntarily direct attention tasks) thus are susceptible poor strategically demanding tasks. results raise multiple avenues developing interventions (e.g., implementation intentions) improve among depression, potential implications medication other treatment adherence.
