摘要: Our purpose was to determine the expression of major histocompatibility complex (MHC) class I and II gene products as well costimulatory molecules B7-1 B7-2 on cervical epithelial cells, what extent inflammatory cytokines regulate their expression. Immunohistology flow cytometry techniques were used identify quantify MHC molecules, B7.1 B7.2, sections primary cell cultures human endo- ectocervix. but not constitutively expressed tissue derived from Expression upregulated in vitro by IFN-γ a time dose dependent fashion. The induction more pronounced ectocervical cells than endocervical cells. also enhanced IFN-α TNF-α. TNF-α TGF-β1 inhibited induced detected or resting cytokine-treated vitro. present results support concept that like counterparts at other mucosal sites, express can upon cytokine stimulation, indicating they are capable presenting antigens T-cells.
