摘要: Abstract Morphological alterations of the cerebral vasculature as related to permeability plasma proteins and angiographic contrast media following unilateral angiography were studied. Both Evans blue albumin horseradish peroxidase employed protein tracers for light electron microscopy investigation respectively. Grey matter regions cortex, cerebellum, corpus striatum, hippocampus midbrain showed most extensive consistent leakage these tracers. The penetration EBA was noted at 1 hr compared 5 or 30 min sample times. Permeability changes in small venules arterioles well capillaries. extent permeability, however, appreciably greater capillaries evidenced by rapid extravasation HRP into surrounding neuropil extracellular spaces. glial basement membrane perivascular spaces precluded interstitium. Opening tight junctions between endothelial cells primarily responsible all vessel types. Furthermore, it is our opinion that hyperosmolar nature medium opening junctions.
