摘要: For over a century microbiologists and immunologist have categorized microorganisms as pathogenic or non-pathogenic species genera. This definition, clearly relevant at the strain level for most bacteria, where differences in virulence between strains of particular are well known, has never been probed fungal species. Here, we tested immune reactivity potential collection from Aspergillus spp, fungus that is generally considered immuno-compromised hosts. Our results show wide strain-dependent variation response elicited indicating different isolates possess diverse infectivity. Thus, definition markers inflammation pathogenicity cannot be generalized. The profound understanding molecular mechanisms subtending responses will result solely comparative study with extremely properties.
