摘要: There is a fair degree of misplaced optimism about common property resource (CPR) management. In investigating issues for woodlands in communal areas Zimbabwe, there are numerous case studies showing breakdown local institutions CPR management, and the lack any emerging alternative such number contributing economics, social ecological factors to this phenomenon. This article argues that formal rule-based systems form cornerstones proposed far removed from current institutional systems, rooted norm-based controls. It suggests advocacy has be tempered with critical analysis.
