摘要: A gradient based algorithm which divides arbitrary images into non-overlapping surface filling tiles of opposite polarity is used to study the flux and size distributions large scale magnetic concentrations in solar heliospheric observatory (SoHO) magnetograms. The mean absolute at considered found be about 1.7 × 1018Mx 5.2Mm for both polarities. form distribution characterized by a skewness α3 = 4.9 kurtosis α4 42.8. fall range 6.5 1017 Mx 5×1018 described an exponential fit, agreement with model sustenance quiet region flux.
