摘要: A lap counter (10) for use by a swimmer (Q), has case (11), strap (12) attaching the onto and Compass sensor (110) housed in (11) providing an output signal which changes as between opposite directions along (Q) swims back forth. There is also operating circuit (100) that includes processor (120) programmed to distinguish change of compass said thereby identify reversal direction then count number laps each based on two successive reversals direction, The may be detect rise above upper threshold subsequent fall below lower threshold, or vice versa, wave representing swimming stroke strokes.
