Liver Transplantation for Metabolic Liver Diseases

摘要: Liver transplantation has become an accepted treatment for several metabolic liver diseases. With advances in organ and immunosuppressive strategies, survival rates following are generally excellent. When the primary defect is hepatic origin, not only replaces dysfunctional but also cures underlying defect. For conditions which extrahepatic, usually performed complications, although disease recurrence may occur. This article reviews common diseases treated with adult population.
