摘要: N-ethyl-N-nitrosourea-induced rat gliomas showed a stimulation of cytosolic spermidine N-acetyltransferase activity compared with normal brain, an increased formation N1 and N8-acetylspermidine, suggesting the activation two enzymes acetylating polyamine in N8 position, respectively. The enhancement N1-acetyltransferase was probably responsible for interconversion pathway gliomas, as indicated by accumulation N1-acetylspermidine marked increase putrescine. Spermidine N8-acetyltransferase, although histones at high rate, seemed distinct from nuclear enzyme, as, unlike latter, it very low affinity putrescine not inhibited methylglyoxal bis(guanylhydrazone).
