摘要: Zwitterionic polymers such as poly(sulfobetaine methacrylate) (polySBMA) and poly(carboxybetaine (polyCBMA) have demonstrated impressive fouling-resistance against proteins mammalian cells. In this paper, the effects of these surface chemistries on settlement behavior an ubiquitous fouling organism, cypris larva barnacle Balanus amphitrite (=Amphibalanus amphitrite), were studied in laboratory. Conventional assays behavioral analysis cyprids using Noldus Ethovision 3.1 significant differences different surfaces.
