摘要: Engine performance curves were obtained for crude, degummed, and degummed-dewaxed sunflower oils alkali refined cottonseed using a single-cylinder, precombustion chamber design diesel engine. Crude gave very poor are considered unsuitable use as alternative fuels. Performance processed cotton-seed slightly better than fuel, but increased carbon deposits lubricating oil fouling noted. Although may be acceptable fuels short-term use, they not recommended at this time.
