摘要: Abstract A household microwave (800W) was modified as a biodiesel reactor for continuous transethylation of waste frying palm oil. The high free fatty acid oil simultaneously neutralized and transesterified with sodium hydroxide. With the ethanol to molar ratio 12:1, 3.0% NaOH (in ethanol) 30s residence time, conversion ethyl ester over 97%. then tested in 100 kW diesel generator neat fuel (B100) 50% blend No. 2 (B50). engine performance emission are recorded. At loads varied from 0 kW 75 kW (at 25 kW intervals) maximum electrical rating, B50 slightly lower than fuel. Emissions NO x , CO HC B100 those fuel, except that at load, where emits higher levels
