摘要: We examined the maternal transfer of organochlorine contaminants (OCs), pesticides (DDTS and HCHs) polychlorinated biphenyls (PCBs), temporal variation blood eggs concentrations from 38 leatherback turtles (Dermochelys coriacea) nesting in French Guiana. PCBs were found to be dominant OCs with respective mean 55.14 ng g 1 lipid-mass for egg 1.26 mL wetmass blood. OC lower than measured other marine which might due trophic position (diet based on gelatinous zooplankton) location their foraging grounds. All detected eggs, suggesting a OCs. This was shown depend female concentration RDDTs most prevalent PCB congeners, since significant relationships between paired blood–egg concentrations. During season, percentage lipid decline successive clutches, highlighting process offloading females decreasing investment into clutches. tended higher spending 3 years grounds two seasons those 2 years, an impact time spacing breeding seasons, called remigration interval,
