摘要: In this chapter we discuss elastic properties of solids near structural phase transitions. It will be shown that by the measurement response important information in field transitions can obtained. For example, constant measurements are a very sensitive tool to locate transition points, determine diagrams, and, favorable cases, make statements about order transition. Furthermore, from temperature variation functions type coupling between strain and parameter deduced. Based on its knowledge, parameters characteristic variations other quantitities derived. addition, used test aspects modern renormalization theories, such as crossover dimensional effects.
