摘要: The relative contribution of genetic and environmental factors in the configuration behavioral differences is among most prolonged contentious controversies intellectual history. Although current views emphasize joint influence genes sources during early brain development, physiological complexities multiple gene-gene gene-environment interactions developmental neurobiology fear anxiety remain elusive. Variation coding for proteins that control serotonin (5-hydroxytryptamine, 5-HT) system development plasticity, establish 5-HT neuron identity, modulate receptor-mediated signal transduction as well cellular pathways have been implicated genetics related disorders. This review selects avoidance paradigmatic traits behaviors, it focuses on mouse models modified by deletion key players serotonergic neurotransmission. In particular, pertinent approaches regarding phenotypic changes mice bearing inactivation mutations receptors, transporter, monoamine oxidase A other to signaling will be discussed major findings highlighted.
