摘要: Abstract. Changes in land use, particularly the type of forest management, and their spatial pattern, especially woody plant diversity, were related to each other an area Basque region (Spain). The number diversity boundaries between landscape patches is development complexity landscape, C(s), measured bits defined as: C(s) = H(b) H(l), where boundary H(1) heterogeneity generated by these boundaries. As vegetation types, changes use over last 50 yr have resulted a less diversified more fragmented on small scale. Forest plantation has become predominant use. frequency studied regarding its influence present levels diversity.
