Snakebite in Korea: A Guideline to Primary Surgical Management.

摘要: Purpose Snakebite is an emergency which causes local symptoms such as pain and edema around the bite. Systemic may also develop, dizziness or renal failure, even cause death. The purpose of this research was to assess validity safety snakebite protocol for surgery when treating patients. Materials methods Retrospective performed on patients who were admitted after being treated at center from January 2008 December 2012. When necessary, debridement performed, 46 111 (41.4%) underwent debridement. Those had received without antivenom administration due a positive skin reaction test classified group A, B delayed We reviewed admission charts in each recorded compared their age, sex, bite site, severity general symptoms, time receive antivenin, complications. Results Of ten (21.7%) two (66.6%) developed cellulites, one them experienced necrosis, resulting graft. In B, there 36 (78.2%), 19 (52.7%) whom cellulitis. Skin necrosis occurred patients, these Compartment syndrome found patient, fasciotomy graft performed. Conclusion treatment implemented treat during safely properly followed surgical treatment.
