摘要: Abstract Background: It has previously been shown in sheep that mitral annular physiologic dynamics during the cardiac cycle are abolished by complete ring annuloplasty, but recent clinical studies suggest flexible partial annuloplasty preserves normal dynamics. Methods: Eight radiopaque markers were sutured equidistantly around anulus 3 groups of sheep: no-ring control animals (n = 16); with a Tailor 6; St Jude Medical, Inc, Paul, Minn); and Duran 7; Medtronic, Minneapolis, Minn). After 7 to 10 days&' recovery, 3-dimensional marker coordinates measured biplane cinefluoroscopy. Mitral area folding (defined as displacement from least-squares plane) septal-lateral commissure-commissure dimensions calculated throughout every 17 ms. Results: In group varied 8.0 ± 0.2 7.2 cm 2 (10% 2%), 27.7 0.4 25.9 mm (7% 1%) 38.2 0.8 36.4 (5% 1%), respectively (mean standard error mean, P , 21.8 0.7 22.0 mm, 31.2 1.7 mm). did not differ significantly between was dampened group. Conclusions: Partial fixed sheep; however, it preserved dynamics, which might be important terms long-term valve function prevention left ventricular outflow tract obstruction.
