摘要: Background Acute posterolateral ischemia in sheep results ischemic mitral regurgitation (IMR). While complete ring annuloplasty prevents acute IMR, partial rings may offer a more physiologic repair, but are untested animal models of IMR. Methods Radiopaque markers were placed on the LV, annulus (MA), and leaflets 13 sheep. Seven served as controls, 6 had St. Jude Tailor flexible implanted (29 mm 5, 31 1). After 8±1 day, animals studied with biplane videofluoroscopy echocardiography before during LV (balloon occlusion circumflex artery).
