摘要: The relative risk of age, sex, underlying diagnosis, corticosteroid usage, diabetes mellitus, and major nonprosthetic infection for the development multiple prosthetic infections was assessed retrospectively. Deep occurred in 174 replacement arthroplasties 145 patients between 1981 1993. Patients with rheumatoid arthritis had a significantly larger number implants per patient (P < .001). Twenty-seven developed second infection, an overall incidence 19%. Of these 27, diagnoses were 19, osteoarthritis 6, neuropathic 1, systemic lupus erythematosus 1. Rheumatoid occurrence (sepsis) found to be highly associated .001 P = .0001, respectively). In those infections, there proportion American Rheumatism Association class III IV function than single .0002). 14 27 cases more one infected presented clinically within same month. Ten infection. It is therefore not possible accurately calculate that arthroplasty poses other implants.
