摘要: Abstract Introduction We examined the efficacy of implementing a multimodal program aimed at reducing incidence periprosthetic joint infection (PJI) after total arthroplasty (TJA) in mid-size community hospital. Methods An reduction committee (IRC) was formed our hospital November 2010. The IRC consisted two orthopaedic surgeons, an infectious disease specialist, internist with extensive experience perioperative medical management TJA patients, anesthesiologist, control nurse, and additional nurses.
