Desmoid Tumor: Prognostic Factors and Outcome After Surgery, Radiation Therapy, or Combined Surgery and Radiation Therapy

摘要: PURPOSE: To evaluate the therapeutic value of resection and potential benefits indications for adjuvant definitive radiation therapy desmoid tumors. MATERIALS AND METHODS: We performed a retrospective review 189 consecutive cases tumor treated with surgical resection, therapy, or alone. Treatment was surgery alone in 122 cases, 46, 21. Median follow-up 9.4 years. RESULTS: Overall, 5- 10-year actuarial relapse rates were 30% 33%, respectively.
