摘要: Abstract This study concerns the ontogeny and cellular localization of l -aspartate -glutamate binding sites in normal ‘nervous’ mutant mouse cerebellar membranes. The kinetics revealed for a single system ( K d = 750 nM ) also component higher affinity 344 ). pharmacological study, using various amino acid analogues, differential specificity two acids. developmental showed that both acids appear mainly during second third week life, period when parallel climbing fiber synaptogenesis occurs, but they follow slightly different pattern. ‘nervous’, cerebellum an age-dependent decrease binding, which coincides time with Purkinje cell degeneration this mutant, indicating these on These results suggest may be respectively associated postsynaptic target fibers dendrites. However, specific was about 50% 60% -glutamate, implying significant number are located elements other than
