摘要: Abstract Absorption and photoluminescence spectra including the decay kinetics of Pr 3+ -doped Lu 2 SiO 5 were measured. Fast luminescence originating from radiative 5d → 4f transition center is revealed with maximum at 273 nm room temperature. Low temperature governed by 25 ns decay, while substantial shortening to 6–7 ns occurs With help slow measurement in millisecond time scale we evidence thermal ionization relaxed excited 5d 1 state . The can explain observed dependences times emission intensity.
