摘要: Abstract Ionic ferrofluids based on γ-Fe 2 O 3 /Ni composite nanoparticles are a polydispersed system prepared by the Massart method. The magnetization and optical relaxation behaviors of these show that, in addition to ring-free micelle aggregates, there also chainlike aggregates ferrofluids. aggregation is attributed so-called “depletion force” because magnetic interaction between ferrofluid particles so weak that cannot form just interaction. For ionic ferrofluids, stimulates larger particles, forming short chains absence field their macroscopic properties, e.g., relaxation, all result from chains. Ferrofluids having alone could have excellent magneto-optical effects.
