摘要: Acute diverticulitis, defined as acute inflammation of a colonic diverticulum, is common emergency presentation managed by both surgeons and physicians. There have been advances in the medical treatments offered to patients recent years. Factors predisposing individuals development diverticulitis include obesity, smoking, lack physical activity medication use, such NSAIDs. Although widely used, there limited evidence on efficacy individual antibiotic regimens treatment may not be required all patients. Mesalazine seems only effective for primary prevention diverticulitis. Finally, measures recurrence lacking. Furthermore, high-quality randomized controlled trials are with if management based.
