摘要: Abstract Introduction Sexual dysfunction is an under-recognized problem in men and women with obstructive sleep apnea (OSA). Epidemiologic findings were inconclusive regarding the risk for sexual associated OSA. Aim The aim of this study was to examine association between OSA dysfunction. Methods PubMed, Cochrane Library, Embase databases searched observational studies on methodologic quality case–control cohort assessed Newcastle–Ottawa Scale (NOS). cross-sectional methodology checklist used study. Data pooled random-effects model. Sensitivity analyses conducted assess potential bias. Main Outcome Measure summarized using relative (RR) a 95% confidence interval (CI). Results This meta-analysis included 1,275 participants from nine studies. Five reported incidence erectile (ED); remaining four female (FSD). Pooled results demonstrated that increased ED (pooled RR = 1.82, CI: 1.12–2.97) as well FSD RR = 2.00, 1.29–3.08). Estimates total effects generally consistent sensitivity analysis. No evidence publication bias observed. Conclusions Evidence suggested individuals might have despite significant heterogeneity.
