摘要: Summary. Avian inventories of the poorly known tropical dry forest in Cucuta Valley, north-east Colombia, yielded new distributional data for 15 bird species including several range extensions along east slope East Andes, or filled gaps between Serrania de Perija and Merida Andes Venezuela, Maracaibo basin Venezuela eastern Llanos Colombia. Some records are fairly common but easily overlooked associated with dense habitats, whereas others concern open-country whose spread has apparently been promoted by landscape transformation. Further work will probably yield additional region, especially transition from Valley to more humid habitats Catatumbo adjacent Colombia Venezuela.
