摘要: Purpose of review The aim this article is to present a brief overview recently published articles assessing oxidative stress markers in nutritional studies. Recent findings Intervention and observational studies were carried out both, healthy subjects patients describe the association foodstuffs as well isolated nutrients with biomarkers stress. results from human intervention on participants are controversial. Long-term interventions (>8 weeks) seem be more effective than short-term or single-dose interventions. Results difficult compare because not only methods used, also assessed outcomes very diverse. In addition, vary compounds doses duration, so on. Different (damaged molecules together antioxidants different compartments) should evaluate true 'redox-status' an individual impact intervention. Summary Both interventional performed show possible beneficial effects by improving antioxidant enzyme activities. Biomarkers standardized allow better comparison
