摘要: The management of central retinal vein occlusion (CRVO) is discussed briefly. Since the prognosis, complications, visual outcome and nonischemic ischemic CRVO are very different, first essential step in to determine which type one dealing with. various parameters help differentiate two types reliably described In this connection, most important thing remember that conventional, prevalent use a 10-disc area capillary obliteration an invalid parameter from CRVO, or predict ocular neovascularization (NV). Ocular NV complication only. Relevant issues about natural history summarized; disease must not be mistaken for beneficial effect treatment. Various advocated modes treatment their relative merits discussed, particularly photocoagulation, widely advocated. Controversies with regard aspects examined. Finally, it noted apart routine systemic hematologic evaluations, vast majority patients do need extensive expensive workup. conclusion, spite enthusiastic claims success therapies, reality we currently have practically no proven safe effective CRVO.
