摘要: With the advent of noninvasive 24-hour ambulatory blood pressure monitoring (ABPM), clinicians have access to a wealth individualized data for hypertensive patient. This has led greater understanding pathophysiology hypertension and its complications. tool provided more precise diagnostic criteria helped discover those with white coat masked hypertension. Patterns noted on ABPM correlated outcomes allowed accurate identification patients at high risk cardiovascular (CV) events, offered an additional prognostic tool. In addition, allows assessment efficacy adequacy treatment. current paper, we will describe essential components ABPM, review evidence detailing information that can be derived from use, highlight clinical scenarios wherein offer invaluable information, applications evaluate treatment
