摘要: A causative agent in approximately 40% of diarrhea] cases. still remains unidentified. Though many enteroviruses (EVs) are transmitted through fecal-oral route and replicate the intestinal cells, their association with acute diarrhea has not so far been recognized due to lack detailed epidemiological investigations. This long-term, molecular study aims conclusively determine non-polio (NPEVs) comaparison rotavirus (RV) children. Diarrheal stool specimens from 2161 children aged 0-2 years 169 between 2 9 years, 1800 normal samples age-matched healthy 0 were examined during 2008-2012 for enterovirus (oral polio vaccine strains (OPVs) NPEVs). Enterovirus serotypes identified by complete VP1 gene sequence analysis. detected 19.01% (380/2330) 13.82% (322/2330) diarrheal stools. During period, annual prevalence EV- RV-associated ranged 8% 22%, but contrasting seasonal RV predominating winter months NPEV prevailing other seasons. NPEVs associated epidemics-like outbreaks which they up 50% diarrheic children, non-epidemic seasons 0-10% patients. After subtraction OPV-positive cases (1.81%), while about 17% diarrhea, 6% showed asymptomatic excretion. Of 37 seven echovirus types 1, 7, 11, 13, 14, 30 33 frequently observed, Ell being more prevalent followed E30. In conclusion, significantly exhibit predominance. signifies need a new direction research on involving systematic analysis contribution burden. (C) 2013 Elsevier B.V. All rights reserved.
